Day 3

Mmmm....Sorry, today is short. I was distracted and now I am not in the mood to blog. I'm going to tell you how I really feel. I feel like screaming. There. Maybe it's the food.

I woke up late this morning so I didn't have enough time to have a good breakfast. I just had 2 pieces of toast with some jam made with xylitol. It's may favorite. It's made by probst farms.

Lunch was raw broccoli and celery with some almonds and a Pomegranate . The worst thing is trying to force yourself to eat raw celery and broccoli...with no dip. Ew. Pomegranate..what is
that? Who has the patience to eat that? I didn't find it very appetizing, so I stopped trying to get the fruit out of its shell. It's a difficult task.

Dinner was A+! I had creamy bean soup. Sounds good right? HAha it consisted of Vegetable Stock, Refried Beans, Celery, Onions, Corn, Salsa, and Cumin topped off with some cilantro for garnish. I added some chips just for a different texture. It was soo good! I made a lot so I have leftovers and I'm very excited about that.

I gave an attempt to make Oat Bran Banana Muffins. haha I didn't have any apple juice so I used apple sauce with water. I figured mixing those would make apple juice. False. I also didn't have any Oat Bran so I substituted oats. Correct. The muffins just had apple sauce, oats, whole wheat flour, raisins, bananas, baking soda, and I added cinnamon. They are very bland but oddly addictive.

My brother Kyle has been giving me lots of tips on what I should do and they have been very helpful. I'm going to start keeping better track of what I ate and how it makes me feel so that I can customize my diet to better fit my bodies need. I actually like this way of eating because it's forcing me to blog, cook, and think more about my meals and be prepared. Good lessons if you ask me. :-)
