I just want a Cookie

This is how I feel
Day 2
Oh boy was today hard. I had the same breakfast this morning because It was so good to me. Lunch was last nights left overs. Dinner....well, that was a struggle. I didn't know what to make so I decided I would just cook some brown rice and then steamed/sauted all the vegetables I had. First off, I hate brown rice. It is just to crunchy and to dry. I need my Japanese sticky white rice. That is where it's at. Second, I can't cook with any oils, well I can I just didn't buy any of the oils I can cook with, so I poured some of the juice from my roasted red pickled peppers. FYI, those are delicious. Third, cooking without some sort of oil doesn't taste as good. Lastly, I should have used more spices besides salt and pepper. I always forget that I can use whatever spice I want, and I forget that salt and pepper are not the only spice on the face of the planet. The vegetable platter consisted of, Roasted Peppers, Brussel Sprouts, Onions, Tomatoes, Broccoli, Mushrooms, and Bok Choy. Now, who has ever heard or tased Bok Choy. I have never had it so I thought it would be fun to try it with my new way of eating. It's an odd little sucker, well I guess I should say big. The thing isn't a small vegetable. I have no idea how to cook it, what to cook it with and what end to eat. They kind of look like giant green onions. So, I guess you could eat either end. Anyway, I just chopped up a little bit of the top and tossed it in with the rest. It really wasn't that bad, but because it was mixed with everything else it had many flavors. Today, I give dinner a C -. I ended up throwing half of it away. It was really quite aweful. I think if it had more sauce and more spices it might have been tasteful. I took some pictures just so you could see my creation. Last but not least, Leilani decided to make Chocolate Chip Cookies. Mmmm they smelled devine! I wanted to sneak some dough everytime I was in the kitchen alone, but I didn't! I held strong to my veganess and resisted temptation! Yay me :) On a lighter note. I finished sewing all the hair I bought onto clips so I could have clip in extentions. They look pretty good. I just have to point cut my real hair so that it blends better.

Hey...that bok choy looks like a lot like a leek. If it is a leek, the bottom white part is the best and it tastes like a mellow onion. Good luck with the vegan thing.

Babe, call us if you are stuck with recipes, we've been doin' it for years. Also, add a 1/2 cup more water than normal to your brown rice and it will be more like our standard white Japanese rice.
